This is How I trade

Last Saturday I made a video demonstrating how a common trader would trade with the DP tactics.  Now today I recorded my trades live and made a small video demonstrating my trades and how I traded the Nifty. So today I am not posting the chart and I request you to watch the video. These three were all good trade setups, at least that is what I perceived during trading hours.

Always keep in mind "there is no replacement for knowledge, experience, and hard work.  Simply following a trader, asking for tips, and looking for shortcuts is not going to lead you to a successful trading."

Make use of mentoring and video tutorial to acquire required "knowledge and experience."

  1. Hi Dave,

I'm new to your blog. Not sure if you have already answered this.

what order do you use? SL or SL-M ? Also, what will be your trigger and limit (say for 3rd trade today).

    thanks

Welcome to my blog. I always use SL limit order for entries. I trade both futures and options. For future, 0.5 of difference is enough between trigger and limit. For option, 0.1 of difference.

  4. Davebhai,

Nice trades :) Happy to see you started full time trading.

In last trade you exited short without any clear swing point above days low. what was the reason to be so agressive after nice fall?

With which software are you recording your screen with voice?

    Thanks and Regards

I had my first suspicion when it failed to even touch the LOD. So when after taking a pause for two candle it seemed like it was failing to break the last low, I trailed the SL. While recording it, it triggered that order.

I use Microsoft Expression Encoder Screen Capture.

  5. URD, Thanks for the video.

Could you plz upload the video on youtube for better viewing. There is no option as "Full Screen" in Google making it difficult to watch the trades.

    Thanks

You might know youtube is owned by the Google.

It is certainly possible to watch this video on full screen. I can watch it on full screen. No need to use youtube.

My mistake ! After posting, I discovered the "FULL SCREEN" button. I overlooked it completely.

      Thanks.

Use Newpointer. There you can view chart with historical intraday data. If any trouble, call their customer care and they will guide you further.

I don't use ninja for the charting. Google it, there are some data providers providing data for ninja. You can try them. You can use iChart. I used it and it is fantastic. Cost is around Rs. 1000 per month.

This is discretionary method to trade. AFL is not possible for such method. But why are you looking for shortcuts?
